Dear Parents,

At 5:15 we are about 50 minutes south of Lexington, Kentucky. Due to a road closure/accident investigation (helicopter as well) on a mountain road and construction on I-75 we are about 2 hours behind.

Our first 60 miles took 2 hours and 45 minutes! Kids have been fantastic and patient!

Buses stopped for a much needed bathroom break at mile marker 178 in Kentucky. Lima, OH is our next stop to switch one of the drivers and grab a bite to eat. We plan to reach Lima around 9:30 which is about 2 hours from school.

We are at our last stop before our arrival home. Switching out one of the drivers, grabbing a bite to eat and bathroom. We will get back on the road as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience! We all want to be home. Can we click our heels? 😊

I will post when are back on the road with an ETA. Your child will also be calling around the Dundee area so that you can meet us at school.

Thank you parents and students for an expeditious unloading and pick up at school. Many of you helped with the process until the end and with no complaining! Everybody was gone in less than 30 minutes.

Thank you parents for staying up late and for not parking in the fire lane. The buses were able to drive right up for unloading. Now for some much needed sleep!
